About the Artist
Marie Billings is from the small town of LaGrange, Kentucky, just 20 miles
outside of Lousiville, Kentucky. She began her career after she obtained a Bachelor of Fine
Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design from Indiana University Southeast.
The majority of the body of work from her portfolio was completed during her time spent freelancing
after graduation. However, the images to follow were an excerise in opinion and art after she
grew tired of the regime that had a virtual stangle-hold on the United States from the year
2000 to 2008.
If you would like to start creating your own graphic art, a great way is to learn programs that
are integral to the trade, like Adobe Creative Suite. In the images to follow, Marie used a variety
